    Opponent: Oklahoma City.

    Player: Kawhi Leonard

Stats: 24 points 14 rebounds 6 assists on 9-18 shooting in 42 minutes

Notes: Similar stats to Parsons and on three less shots.

Conclusion: Make Kawhi a focal point in the offense, like Parsons with Houston, and he'll give you the above.

Then how else to subtly point out the gratuitous nature of the other thread?

Kawhi was super aggressive in that game, mostly because he had to be. No ginobili and limited time for the starters, it was pretty much garbage time.

Didn't Tony look invisible in that game?

    Just so we're fair:

    Date: March 16, 2012

    Opponent: Oklahoma City.

    Player: Danny Green

    Stats: 21 points
on 8-12 shooting, 5 rebounds, 1 assists and 5 steals and in 38 minutes

Notes: Similar to Leonard in points off better shooting. Had the game-sealing steal.

Conclusion: When players get hot, the Spurs win. Pop needs to do everything in his power to make sure that all of his rotation players are there mentally.

    And:

    Date: March 11, 2013

    Opponent: Oklahoma City.

    Player: Tiago Splitter

    Stats: 21 points
on 9-11 shooting, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block and in 34 minutes

Notes: Pick and roll killed the Thunder

Conclusion: When players get hot, the Spurs win. Pop needs to do everything in his power to make sure that all of his rotation players are there mentally.

Damn, we can't have six focal points on offense, can we?

    And:

    Date: November 14, 2010

    Opponent: Oklahoma City (at OKC).

    Player: Matt Bonner

    Stats: 21 points
    on 7-10 shooting, 4 rebounds, +14 in 25 minutes

Notes: Early Season Bonner went 7-7 from downtown. Thunder couldn't defend the 3.

Conclusion: When players get hot, the Spurs win. Pop needs to do everything in his power to make sure that all of his rotation players are there mentally.

Problem is Kawhi is inconsistent with his assertiveness. Sometimes I forget he even played in most games . Very forgettable games most nights. Tiago has fallen off the face of the earth, but Bonner has pleasantly surprised me with his defense and 3 point shooting.

Player: He Who Shall Not Be Named

    Stats: 28 points
    on 9-13 shooting (4-5 3pt), 4 rebounds, +8 in 34 minutes

Notes: Flash in the pan for HWSNBN

Conclusion: Even a blind dog finds a bone some days
