Durant plays for his teammates, the other does not.
Simple formula. Props to Durant.
When the Lakers were eliminated from the playoffs in 2011, Kobe Bryant said any season that didn't end in an NBA le was "a wasted year of my life."
A day after the Oklahoma City Thunder were knocked out of the second round by the Memphis Grizzlies, Kevin Durant was asked if he feels the same way.
"Nothing's ever a wasted year for me. It's basketball. I've grown so much as a man since the beginning of the season. I've grown so much as a leader. Nothing is ever wasted," Durant said Thursday, according to ESPN.
"Of course, the ultimate goal in this league is to win a championship. But I'm never going to say I wasted a year. I'm blessed to even wake up and do something I love every day. So it's never wasted."

Kobe has five rings.Durant has nada.
It's not that he doesn't have to be like Kobe.Right now,he CAN'T be like Kobe.
He could tear his Achilles tendon and rape someone.
real original, cant you come up with your own material?
Kobe rapedPERIOD
They play different positions. Durant is a SF-PF, Kobe mostly SG. But they are similarly talented. Too bad OKC couldn't keep Harden, because they could eventually ring at some point in the future.
Kobe = upstairs Spurs fan?
Kobe rang without Shaq and left him and jim on the end of the 5>4 stick.
Durant is a huge beta that seems to be ok with being 2nd in command to Westbrook, he's far from being like Kobe.
