He hasn't been nearly as good defensively this year compared to last year. Hopefully getting some playing time and being inserted back into the starting lineup will help him get back to where he needs to be.

No one talks about Splitter, but he is the glue in many ways.
On D, he and Duncan make the Spurs elite.
On offense, he gives Manu confidence and Manu returns the favor.
Outside of Parker, no one has stolen more money than Splitter this year. He is a piece of . He can't even catch a basketball. He does nothing right. He can only go up from how low he has been.

no idea why was baynes starting.. i mean i like the guy, but he can't defend.
Splitter never had a prime. He can play a lot better. And he should. That nagging injury business shouldn't last this long.
Oh man, you're going to love the post Duncan age. If you want to see big men ruining a teams salary just look at every team with a big man. Aside from rookie contacts and a few elite bigs, they are all overpaid.
