How are you doing it
Yes i am.
On perm discs that can be taken out and played elsewhere. If i end up changing services, and i will shortly as I will be getting comped Time Warner, i don't want Legit Championship #5 going bye bye with the rented DVR.
How are you doing it
I have every minute of the Spurs playoff games so far in 720p along with 3 games from the regular season that I enjoyed (Clippers, Bulls, and Thunder blowouts from February and March). If the Spurs win the championship or have a memorable finals, I'll organize a menu and burn myself a commemorative blu-ray. I kept the playoffs last year until the reverse sweep. After that I got pissed and deleted them all.
Nobody keeps on physical media anymore. Get with the times.
If anyone ends up with the games in electronic format, especially HD, please consider putting them into a Dropbox account.
Why worry about how to record them, there are always torrent posts of games usually the same night in 720P or better quality.
where is the best place to download games? torrent wise
Hypothetically, I'd search on thepiratebay.sx. There is one gentleman who posts high quality torrents (720p60) of all the games. There are usually sufficient seeders for a while after the games to get a decent DL speed. My upload speed is poor (15Mbps down, only 1 Mbps up), but I'd still, hypothetically, be seeding the last two rounds myself, were I to do such a thing. Hypothetically, I'd also use a VPN account for more anonymous torrenting, especially since I work for my ISP.
All hypothetically, of course.
My provider (RCN) has TiVo as an option for a cable box - I'm able to download recordings directly to my computer (pretty large, 10 GB for a game). If I really want to, I can use some video editing tools to cut out all the commercials and reduce file size.
