Anyone buy wood lately?

I was thinking of doing another fence project. It's been five years since I built a fence, and the wood prices have more than doubled.

Anyone know why wood went up so much?

Home Depot/Lowes have one of the greatest smells of any stores. The lumber section is intoxicating. Beats the gasoline smell, imo
