Nando did not look amused.![]()

Pretty good stuff, tbh![]()
It is hard to make out of what Nando is saying.
I think Diaw was a fan of the Spurs immediately Tony was drafted.
Surprised that they add in Mailk Hairston. I don't think any body know him if they are not Spurs fan.
lol, it's clear Nando doesn't care about the Spurs as much as the others![]()
Hence why Diaw gets minutes, and Patty and Nando ride the bench. Pop gives all the players a quiz on the former Spurs players at the start of every season. Those who score well in the quiz earn themselves minutes in the playoff rotation.
That's awesome!![]()
Damn, Diaw knows his
Props to Diaw, a player who really studies the game
Good vid!
Diaw actually played in the NBA. These other two were mostly elsewhere.
I like Diaw's response for Glenn Robinson, lol, "Glenn Robinson?? 2005?......nah he was retiring in 2005"
Which is correct. Retired after the championship that year I believe.
ter McGee
Definitely big props to Diaw.
The only one I didn't remember was Mark Bryant. I was a big Spurs fan back then (2001-2002), but he was a one-season, 30-game, <7 mpg, <2 ppg guy. And I didn't watch nearly as many Spurs games before the advent of NBA LP BB.
People in Oregon knew that, we had high expectations for him in the NBA after he graduated from Oregon. He turned out to really suck. He was a 5 star athlete coming out of high school with a lot of hype.
Diaw is TP's best friend and was playing in the NBA. Of course he knows all thoses guys
Nando was 15 years old in France in 2003
Of course Diaw has a big advantage here but I was still really impressed that he knew virtually all of those guys. I really like Boris in his interviews too, he comes across as a chill and intelligent guy.
Can't really blame Nando for being a bit clueless in regards to this though for the reasons already mentioned. Was rather amusing though, his face showed such confusion if it was muted I wouldn't be able to know if they were asking him about basketball or quantum physics.
Malik started off well but faded in his career at oregon...
Hairston got worse at oregon, surprised he got drafted as high as he did. Ridnour and Jackson were much better players than him, Ridnour is still in the league despite Jay Bilas claiming that Ridnour couldn't guard a chair.
