I'm in the same situation brother. Damn, this hurts.
Tossing and turning like a mofo with those last 28 seconds replaying over and over and over.... Kill me.
I'm in the same situation brother. Damn, this hurts.
Same here. We had it man. We ing had it.![]()
I just took a Xanax. This is physically painful in the manner of heartbreak.
I just keep cn that manu and kawahi missed fts .along with that final 3 Miami hit to go into overtime ball was in the air forever
I'm still sitting on my recliner ... have been unable to move for last 2 and a half hours. Numb.
I raged up and down my hallways for about 10 minutes..
When Allen hit that 3 I felt like someone punched me as hard as they can in the stomach.. I was screaming at my TV at the top of my lungs when Tim sat out..
My ing throat hurts...
There is still one more game to be played. I tossed and turned after Games 2 and 4 (even though this one was way worse).
I'm saving my depression if the Spurs lose Game 7.
It's a basketball game guys, and a dang good one at that. It happens. The Spurs have secured their legacy, and there's still one more game to play.
I'm trying to rationalize things. Miami played great in the 4th quarter and overtime. They hit big shots. We didn't. Everyone thought we were going to lose this game. We can play so much better. We need to incorporate Danny and Neal in the offense again. No more Splitter. We need ball movement. Both teams are going to be fatigued. The better TEAM will win game 7.
Then again...Lebron missed a ton of shots in game 6. So did Wade. Bosh was largely ineffective most of the game. We had a 5 ing point lead with 28 seconds left to win the NBA Championship. Kawhi missed a Finals clinching free-throw. Manu turned it over 7 ING TIMES. Tim scored 5 total points in the 4th quarter and overtime. Danny Green was nowhere to be found. Neal was nowhere to be found. We got most of the calls and still lost.
Yeah... I can see why you can't sleep...
Not alone on this one.
My only comfort is knowing that unlike those other painful losses, .04, manu foul in 06, spurs still just need one more and its their championship.
its one of those things that in order to come back from this loss is getting together, having a heart to heart, letting their stress out about this game. they need to let it all out, whether its punching a wall, yelling really loud, cursing, whatever it might be but after they are done with all that, they need to take a deep breath and realize that they are privileged with the opportunity to rewrite history and make game 6 meaningless.
with each other and knowing that they will each give their all for one more game. they were close but they were far from perfect. they CAN play better, thats the good thing.
they've surprised EVERYBODY up to this point, they can surprise everybody again.
I wish we lost to Golden State
I haven't turned on the TV since getting home. Won't turn it on again until game 7.
This one will never go away.. Years from now it will be hard to watch old finals game they won because the stink of this one will be in your mind..
I would have been cool if the Heat kicked our ass in this series but not like this...
Not like this...
I had trouble sleeping last night because I was so anxious about the thought of winning it all tonight.
I'll have trouble sleeping tonight because we pulled off one of the biggest chokes in NBA history.
You and me both man. And I gotta be at work at 9 tomorrow morning.
It's 2AM, do you know where your Spurs fans are?
-losing their minds over the worst loss in Spurs history
Go to sleep now and have a dream of our 5th championship
Seriously. They were wheeling out the ing stage... AAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH
I had to take a bio break when Leonard was shooting those FTs. I'll never forget the blood-curdling scream coming from the TV room: "HE MISSED IT."
Watching game of thrones, don't feel that bad tbh
I have to go to bed. So depressing. From the missed Gilmore shot in the 83 WCF to now, I have seen many disappointments. I am heading for Colorado and maybe seeing some Indian ruins will take my mind off this shocker.
FUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
We ing had this game!! It just hit me again! Up 4 points with 20 seconds left and we pissed it down the drain in a manner I never thought the Spurs would ever be associated with. Is this really how it's going to end? Is my last memory of the Spurs Big 3 era going to be us choking away #5 like this?? Shoot me.
i went driving downtown about half an hour after we lost. some fans out there honking optimistically, but overall it was incredibly depressing.
i dont want to go to bed because i hate that feeling of waking up and remembering instantly what happened the night before.
Ffffff, i gotta stay away from bball till the start of game 7, ffffff
