I get sick if i think about game 6. Might be the biggest coaching blunder in nba history. The Spurs had a 99% chance of winning game 6 when they were up by 5 with 28 seconds left. Fml.
It might be the worst coaching decision of all time in the Finals. I want someone to tell me when was the last time a top 10 player of all time was benched with the game on the line in the Finals with a chance to win it all. Shaq was benched because of hack a shaq but was never benched with a 5 point lead with 28 seconds in a game that could win it all. MJ, Magic, Kobe, Bird, Kareem, Hakeem, Wilt, Russell,...none have been benched with any lead with a championship on the line in the last seconds. Pop should hear about this for the rest of the summer and the entire season next year.

He doesn't care. Why should you?
Oh my God get the over it. I mean seriously yeah it sucked but the same strategy HAS WORKED BEFORE.
It seems like unless win the championship every season, you idiots are going to crucify Pop. Give it a rest, and be thankful for all that he's done for this team for a change.
"needed to cover the shooters"
"something we always did in reg season"
"Duncan is too slow"
"Pop has four rings"
Pop and the popsuckers didn't trust Tim Duncan and Spurs MVP of the series
Can still see Tim's face on the bench at that time!!
So yeah...the draft is tomorrow...
Someone post that gif, please.
pop fukked up and he wont admit it.. i dont mind if you man up and admit it but the fact that he wont admit he fukked up is what really bothers me..
that and him suckking lebron/wades dikk after game 7.. smh
True. I'm still numb from the loss, and will never forgive Popovich for such a monumentally stupid decision. Tim shouldn't either.
YUP!!
I really think if he would he woulda gaine a load of respect!!
What got me is he repeated the same mistake that the Indiana coach made. Pop is like the stubborn teenager that doesn't believe it will happen to him until it happens to him.
And when finally happens to him, he repeats the same mistake again because he is a stubborn SOB, but manu sunk the game missing that free throw and played like all night so with a good manu pop could afford be an arrogant stubborn SOB, with a ty manu is just another teenager coach![]()
Stillat commentators saying after the Vogel debacle, that Pop would never make that kind of mistake. Rofl
I was thinking, damn they just don't know Pop
And look what happened lol
Why are people still making 12-13 threads? lol
Duncan didn't need to be on the floor. The dumbasses on the court just needed to BOX OUT. I think the Heat probably got 50 pts in the series because they couldn't do this basic basketball fundamental skill.
Popsuckers: "Bonner would have gotten that rebound!!!!"
![]()
Are Spurs fans really this stuck up and irrational? SURE THEN let's just fire Pop and see how good we do! It seems like that's what you guys want!
Tim Duncan had a game high 17 rebounds.I know Pop doesn't give a now but damn man.
It doesn't hurt as much but in that moment it suck big donkey balls.
Not what lost the game...but it's easy to make pop scapegoat. Kawhi, Manu or tony could have just made one free throw but didn't ... That's basketball
SBM and SA210 are the spurstalk version of 2 guys 1 cup
