It would be a great pick up, even on a max contract but I think K Love is destined for brighter lights
Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Love!!
Love has an opt out clause in his contract after the 2014-2015 season and the Spurs will have a lot of money availabe once the Big Three contracts expire. Minnesota doesn't have a culture of winning or the FO to make sure the team is a contender consistently. A few superstar players don't like the limelight or glitz and glamour of big markets, but the family culture and the belief that the organization will do what it takes to put a winning team on the floor. I've never thought we'd be a lottery team after the Big Three era, but the addition of Kevin Love would keep the winning tradition at a very high level. Discuss!

Kawhai is going to move himself and his mama back to California. He ain't stickin around.
Someone is going to throw a lot of money at him.
That's assuming they don't just play next year and call it a day. Not sure how Manu's contract would be structured, but Tim has a PO that he would have to pick up for 2014-2015, and Tony's contract is only guaranteed $3.5M.
IDK about Kawhi, but I think he MIGHT think SA's a good fit for him. Despite him being a California kid, the guy's pretty low profile, reminds me of a certain big fellow tbh. And personally, the environment is always something a person considers.
All the pop haters who rag on "popsuckers" are going to realize that the best chance for Kawhi to stick around would be if pop sticks around with him. If pop leaves and the big 3 have broken up, Kawhi might move on. I can't see him leaving though. Spurs will probably throw the max at him
I watched the highlights of the Bulls game again today. He has potential.
The Spurs need to keep Leonard long-term. He is the future of the Spurs.
Free agents don't sign in SA
Kawhi leonard era began during the finals.
He needs to step up his perimeter game if he's going to be the guy. Next year will be telling. We didn't get a perimeter scorer do to bad negotiating and worse luck so we are going to have to lean on him a bit more. We'll see if he can support the weight.
