If I remember correct the whole clutchfan board was scattered with drool and semen when MWP joined them in 08' summer, like they had won the championship or something. MWP would bring them a breakthrough year by leading this team to the 2nd round in 09, the first time to do so in the post-Olajuwon era and also the only time by far. Dumb s think an extra "superstar" would guarantee them a championship but at the end of day they will still wake up in the trough, before the 2nd round begins.

Tbh I was like one of the few mavs fans who responded positively to that deal. Tyson fixed our weakest link which was a much bigger upgrade than Iggy would be. Spurs should've also brought Collins to San Antonio so Jefferson would feel happier and play better tbh.
