if my goddess writes a book someday I would buy it the first day it comes available in the market whatever the price. otherwise i'd rather download some movies and watch for free than pay $10+ for a pile of goddamn paper tbh.
...respect at all and that's a good thing. Sure there are a few into first editions but most the time that's a non factor.
I don't care who the author is or the significance of the book....25c/50c/buck...at a yardsale/thrift shop. Many many times scoring 30 dollar books for a buck or less. I have almost all of James Patterson, Lee Child and James Lee Burke, over 50 books combined, spent less than 50 bucks. Bought brand new..over 600 bucks.
I got Tolkiens Lord of the Rings trilogy...a buck.
All 11 books of the John Carter on Mars saga...less than 10 bucks.
The 12 book Robert E. Howards...Conan...epic...less than 10 bucks.
As we know all those authors have had their main characters made into movies. All are considered among the best at what they do, yet....25c/50c/buck...cool~~~~~~~~~
My H.P.Lovecraft collection.......5/6 bucks.

You never seem to really get it, I know...celibate.
I want the books around me, it's soothing/comforting. Look up and there sts...John Steinbeck and East of Eden, The Grapes of Wrath, over there...A Sranger in a Strange Land by Heinlien, up there...A Stone Alone...Bill Wyman. Now add another 10,000 les. Steppenwolf...Hermann Hesse, books by Patterson, Simak, Clarke, Mailer, Vonnegut, ens, Fitzgerald, Hemmingway, Baldwin and on and on and on..... It's very cool.
"How I Became a got" by Avante seems like an interesting read, tbh....
East of Eden and The Grapes of Wrath were screenplays made into movies...Duh...
So was your auto biography...."The Story of an Internet Coward"...by Clipper Nation.
You sure about that?
