LeBron will adjust as he gets older, Melo will chuck and brick his way into TOSB status....

LeBron. He might decline more than Melo, but he's so much better than Melo it'd take a crippling injury + a lobotomy to put him at Melo's level.

Lebron will age gracefully like Magic, tbh..he has already adjusted to declining athleticism..he's the strongest wing player in the league and more powerful than most PFs..elite passer, great defensive instincts, and his jump shots has improved every year..

Melo will look like Kobe vs. Dallas in 2011, tbh..

How exactly did Magic age gracefully? He left the game when he was like 31 years old. Came back a few years later for a short stint as a slow, fat-ass.

Magic didn't play much into his 30s.

It's a question like who will be the prettier woman in their 30's, Ellen Page or Scarlett Johansson?

He meant age at all considering he should be dead by now

Has Melo ever been better than LBJ? Nothing is going to change until LBJ tears both of his achilles.

There's also a strong chance that Anthony gets too fat with age, which is a process that appears to be in it's initial stages, tbh..

LBJ. I can see him playing and dominating the post game when he gets older. He'll be like Malone.

As LeBron ages, he may move to some sort of point-forward role. Even as his athleticism declines, he'll be a great shooter, passer, ball handler, and post player. His game should age well.

Melo, in the later stages of his career, will only be able to see the floor when there's another slow fattie opposite him. His offense will be fine but his defense will be Nash-like.

why is melo in this discussion. he's another volume scorer that thrives off putting up 25 shots for 25 points while shooting 45% from the field and playing no defense. he's in the same class as steve francis, t-mac, iverson, kobe

Skill wise, melo and its not even close, but if lebron manages to maintain his athletisicm or decides to develop a post game, id take him.

Lebron actually tries to improve his game every year, so he will be able to rely on his jumpshot more. Add in the fact that he's in much better shape right now (his prime will last longer) and he's one of the game's best passers...this one is easily Lebron.
