To be so close and yet so far

Is where we were but no longer are

As I watched a five point lead shrink to two

And watched Miami foul which they had to do

I was thinking to myself, wow, we could lose this game

And before I knew it, Kawhi's first free throw went clang

Up two with one to go

I was thinking oh please, oh god no!

And then Kawhi made his second

And Miami was down three

And I was thinking okay

This was meant to be

But Lebron then comes zooming down the floor

And I'm like PLEASE MISS, because I can't take this anymore!

My prayers seemed to be answered as Lebron hoisted a brick

And I'm in my bed, and screaming THAT'S IT!

But to my shock

Bosh rebounds the rock

And with seven seconds left he passes to Allen in the corner

And 2 seconds later I become a mourner

The game is now tied, and neither team has a timeout

But the Refs stop to check the replay, making Pop shout

Miami gets set, and the Spurs have to go full court

Parker drives down, and comes up just short

Overtime starts and the Spurs don't back down

It seems like after all we might get this crown

And with 5 seconds left Manu is driving in the open floor down one

And my Dad is screaming Do it! Do it son!

But Allen again, strips the ball clean, and the Spurs have to foul

And suddenly were down 3, holy cow!

With 1.9 left we barely inbound

We find Danny in the corner, but he has no space

And Bosh blocks the shot...and I'm left with this face

It helped me cope at the time. Anyone else wanna try one? It's pretty fun actually...
