and of those murdered, 262,621 were murdered from other blacks. That's 91% of black murders in this country are caused from other blacks. It seems like they should be a little less worried about that other 9%

what is the point of this thread? what was the socioeconomic status of those blacks? can you prove there was no outrage to any of those murders? how many blacks were killed because of hate crimes during that time frame?
what is the % of white murders committed by other whites? is it less than 91%? what is the % of hispanic murders that were committed by other hispanics? same for asians?

The point is race wars aren't the issue. Crappy, crime-driven people are the issue which is why race related crime is a blip on the radar. Yet, you want to get up in arms over any race related crime when that is not the biggest issue at all and you want to ruin impressionable kids by telling them race is the issue and that they should have a chip on their shoulder because of it.

If I was to tell you that 10 bad things happened and in that group of bad things, 9.1 out of the 10 things that happened were related to one variable (variable a) and the other .9 things that happened were related to another variable (variable b), which variable would you likely peg as the bigger issue?
i would say they are all a big issue
But would you protest and dwell mainly on variable b and tell kids that variable b means they are at a severe disadvantage?
If you are a realist then you understand that while even one bad thing happening is wrong, some issues are bigger than others. When you choose to ignore the main issues and instead focus efforts on something that statistically is a minor part of the equation you are failing to see the forest for the trees and end up doing more harm.
i think when it comes to a person's life, there is no one life that is bigger than the other. both are horrible crimes and i talk to my brothers about both. lets not be naive to the fact that african americans live under a different set of rules. call it playing the race card, butthurt, bitter...but its true. look at who lives in the poorest neighborhoods, who gets the longer prison sentences for crimes while whites commit the same crimes and get slapped on the wrist.
i see whats going on but unfortunately a lot of ya'll dont. its easier to call us butthurt and say we use the race card and turn a blind eye to it...but i understand why ya'll do it.
