The 2005 Spurs are my all time favorite team, but who wins this series?

    da Spurrrrsss

but real talk, i think Spurs would've won it. prime Duncan, prime Ginobili before he turned into an old fart fumbling for his green card, Parker was less savvy, but still heroballing. It would've been an awesome series with a better ending imo.

Comparing to how the heat played this year, the '05 Spurs would beat them in 6. Home court or not.

Prime Duncan would have slaughtered the Heat single handedly.

Tim Duncan in his prime would all over the entire Heat team, no one would be able to come close to stopping him imo. Plus the Spurs still had prime Bowen along with Horry playing at a high level still. I don't see the 2013 Heat beating the 2005 Spurs imo prime Tim/prime Manu/prime Bowen would be nasty for the Heat to deal with. Parker wasn't a slouch in 2005 either, not to mention dat BONES Barry. Spurs also had a good defensive C rotation with Nazr and Rasho. Oh and I almost forgot about Glenn Robinson, who was still serviceable at the time. Dem spurs all the way

As long as Pop wouldn't try to play Ben Udrih because he would never even make it to halfcourt before he was swiped and shat on

The prime Duncan would be a nightmare to Miami while the prime manu and parker were just as deadly offensively. Bruce would do a great job guarding Lebron and Nestrovic would expose the softass bosh in the paint. The 05' wade would prbably cause some troubles to the spurs but the 13' wade couldn't even suck a without lebron holding his head in place. 05' Spurs in 4, or 5 at most.

Kinda crazy to think that Bruce Bowen had the best defensive big man in the game watching his back at almost every point in his career (prime Zo, prime ).

Just give 2013 Spurs 2005 Manu instead of the TOSB and Spurs win it in 6, replace 37 yr old timmy with prime timmy and injured parker with healthy, younger parker and replace Kawhi with Bowen(who locked bron down in 2007) and you got a sweep with every game being a blowout.

The 2013 Heat are a great small ball team. I think their lineups would frustrate the 2005 Spurs since they played more of a traditional lineup. At least the 2013 Spurs were versitale enough to play Leonard/Diaw at the 4 to contain Lebron in a full game to some degree. Plus the 2013 Spurs had more reliable weapons beyond the arc to pay for the Heats double teams.

Unless Nazr goes ape , I see it another 6-7 game series, tbh.
