Jamison has a desire to play for a team that will contend for the NBA championship next season.
Jamison had offseason surgery on his wrist but expects to be 100 percent at the start of the season.

He was the 2nd best player in Cleveland and all the Lakers s think James had a team capable of winning a ring.

^ Doc couldn't win with a prime Tracy McGrady. He only started winning after the Celtics stacked it up in 07. The Clippers have a roster filled with losers.
Toht, since you're here, what are your thoughts on certain fans on this board that root for 1 team but also root for the Miami Heat as a back up? Is that not a classic example of beta male at its finest?

and Toht, what do you think of Laker fans that rooted for the Spurs because of their psychotic hatred for Lebron, only to turn around and now respect Lebron and talk to Spursfan?
^ It's classic beta behavior. Throughout the season they were claiming the Heat as the NBA's only true le contender, because they were scared of a match-up with the Heat in the finals. That match-up is realized, and from game 1 on, spurfan knew they had a chance at the series. But, just in case they'd up, they proclaim the Heat as one of the best teams since the 96 Bulls. And then 6 happened. They were seconds away from a le that they thought they already won, so they turn on the Heat. They call LeBron a choker. They call out the cHeat. Then, Allen hits the triple and that's the ballgame. They return to ting on their own club, thinking they have no chance at a game 7.
They lose game 7 by a hair.

So last year, when the Lakers got Jamison, that was a joke, but the Clippers doing the same is a 'big move'? Really?
well least he don't have to buy a new house.
Dude's old but would still have a lot to provide on the floor for the Clippers imho, a nice addition to their big men's rotation which currently consists of only monkey ballers. Jamison's ability of shooting 3's would give them another dimension at the offensive end imho.
