Miami crushes OKC's spirits tonight. Wade has his best game of the series tonight as the Heat take a commanding 3-1 series lead setting the stage for the championship on Thursday.

This one is definitely Oklahoma's season. It's kind of a coin flip for me tbh. Then if they can make it 2-2, I think the series becomes a coin flip. They really screwed up with that awful first quarter in game 2.

As long as OKC can win one in Miami, they have a great shot at winning it all with the final 2 at home.

I keep wondering if the Heat will actually play well. I think they have a lot of head room but when you keep saying something, maybe it's just how they are. I still think if Bron/Bosh/Wade actually all play above average on the same night they will win, but the key is forcing OKC into tough shots, rebounding and FT's.

I will say that if MIA keeps REB/FT's within 4-5 difference they will likely win those games.

Last year MIA had a crazy momentum game 3 win, but instantly lost that in game 4. Lets see if Bron has the killer instinct now that he's so close again and if anyone will step up.

    Oh sweet irony.

    http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2012/0...at-ibaka-says/

MIAMI – Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka apparently disagrees with the media (who had LeBron James fourth in Defensive Player of the Year voting) and coaches (who had James as the top vote-getter for the All Defensive Team).
“LeBron is not a good defender,” Ibaka told the Palm Beach Post on Monday, in reference to James defending Kevin Durant. “He can play defense for two to three minutes but not 48 minutes.”
That comment, of course, called for a response from James at shootaround on Tuesday morning. Such is the media cycle in a playoff series.
“I don’t really care about what he says,” James said of Ibaka. “For me, as a defender, I just try to make plays. I try to keep my body in front of such a great player.
“I’m not sitting here saying that I’m a Durant stopper, because there’s no such thing. I’ve got to rely on my defense behind me to communicate with me. But I don’t really care what he says. It’s stupid. Everyone says something to me every series. You guys keep trying to get a quote from me.”
James clarified the “stupid” remark, saying “It’s not towards him though. I don’t really care what he says.”
This isn’t the first time that the Thunder have talked some trash about the Heat. Last January, Durant said the following about Chris Bosh: “There are a lot of fake tough guys in this league and he’s one of them.”
Bosh said that he and Durant “squashed that” the following month at the All-Star Game. And that it’s natural for some animosity to develop in the playoffs.
“It’s a regular thing in a series,” Bosh said. “Things are going to escalate as the series goes on. So that’s nothing out of the norm. You can get sick of seeing the same dude over and over and over, and you really despise a team after playing a series against them. I think everybody in the league will tell you that. But it’s nothing out of the norm. We’ve seen everything and the kitchen sink.
“We just play the game and let our game do the talking.”
And personally, Bosh doesn’t concern himself with what other players say about him.
“I’m not the kind of player that really feeds off that stuff,” he said. “I’m my own worst critic, so I just have to stay within myself and make sure I get the best out of myself, rather than giving somebody else the power to evoke that from me.”
Dwyane Wade thinks James is the same way.
“I don’t think LeBron James,” Wade said, “needs any more motivation than he has.”

Call Lebron a choker or question his killer instinct, but for Ibaka, who himself isn't a very good defender (outside of shot blocking and an improved perimeter defense) to call out Lebron for defense is stupid.

Lebron is clearly an excellent defender and the only superstar that has to do it on both ends against the leagues best.

Dumb monkey thinks he's a better defender than lebron just because he makes some flashy blocks.

Yes while his help side defense is excellent, his man defense is probably slightly below average. Lebron is a better defender than Ibaka so it just sounds pretty funny for him to say that.

I originally predicted that the Heat would win 2 out of 3 at home, so I'm going to go with OKC tonight, but it wouldn't surprise me either if OKC completely s the bed and gets blown out. Miami played pretty badly last game and still won. That doesn't bode well for OKC. KD can't get in foul trouble and Westbrook needs to get his teammates involved (lol). Meh, I'll reluctantly say OKC 98, Miami 93. I'd love for the Heat to prove me wrong though.

Lebron and/or Wade are due for a game where they make jump shots IMO, hopefully it's tonight..

Outside of game 6 vs. Boston, Lebron hasn't consistently made jump shots since the Indiana series..

Wade hasn't made jump shots at any point during the playoffs..

I would imagine that one of them will have a hot game, at some point..
