Duncan would've probably also missed that rebound to the mad dogs who were fighting for life out there. The spurs still had one game to concede while the heat were already standing at the brink of the precipise. The heat were more determined to win that game and it delivered. Duncan was old and he was already tired as a bag at the end of the match so it wasn't a totally bad decision to sit him on the bench imho. Duncan got his chance at them double lay-up attemps, and he missed them both.
