Discussions surrounding a trade between the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets centered on Iman Shumpert and Kenneth Faried have intensified in recent days, according to a source.No deal is imminent, but the Knicks believe they need to make a move to bolster their frontcourt.
Shumpert has fallen out of favor with both James Dolan and Mike Woodson's coaching staff. J.R. Smith will start for Shumpert on Wednesday.

Shumpert is overrated as
Fair Deal IMO.
both players are overrated to the bones, but shumpert offers a few things in the court and can be a valuable asset in the playoffs defensively. Faried is mostly a one trick pony and is the easier player to nutrilize between the two. Faried is also a sub par defensive player...
Fair deal, but I'm leaning towards the nuggest for getting the better the deal.
Both players are very overrated, especially Faried, but ya, Denver could probably do better, tbh..
Not terrible for NYK but problem is, Faried needs a high-quality PG to set him up. Fat Felton ain't that.
Who am I kidding, every player that comes to the Knicks falls off anyway.
Gotta get more for Faried who is overrated ... but if you put him on say the Heat, who could cover up his flaws Faried would benefit. Problem is there is no Lebron on the Knicks ...

Pretty odd trade if true. Seems like the Knicks would benefit more from a move like this.
Deal's not happening according to Woj, Nuggets turned it down....
Not sure why the Knicks want to get rid of Shumpert so badly.... even Woodson treats Shump like crap while giving JR Smith a pass.... Shump seems to be a hard worker and the only one on the Knicks who actually gives a , tbh....
The Knicks won't be a competent team again until they get rid of Melo. They would have been fine had they just developed their pre-trade core.
faried is going to get paid if he gets to the knicks, i can see it happening...another overpaid player
both players are overrated imho. Faried just an undersized monekyballer who would struggle to perform in half-court offense. shumpert is physically gifted but the lack of shooting ability will always make it hard for him to be successful as a guard imho.
