The superbugs aren't just caused by the over-prescription of antibiotics. IMO the bigger cause is 40+ years of antibiotics in our meat supply because Nixon's farm bill put all the family-owned farms with grass fed cattle out of business and replaced them with corporate agriculture that loads cattle up with corn and antibiotics so millions of people are consuming antibiotics on a daily basis. Cutting antibiotic prescriptions won't be enough to solve the problem.
