NBA: Knicks should just tank, trade Melo

They are horrible and Melo is not the type of player that can get them to the promise land anyway.




They'll probably drop to 3-11 after tonights game with a chance to lose the next 2 against @ Denver and Pelicans. December is a soft schedule and if they can't win half of those games then forget it because January and February are brutal.




2014 Draft is filled with solid prospects. If I'm running the Knicks, I won't pay Melo $125 million or whatever his max contract amounts to and trade him to get some assets back. I know NY is tired of rebuilding year after year but retooling it as a short term solution won't cut it.



When was the last time they had a #1 pick? I honestly want to see Wiggins in a huge market instead of ending up in Utah, Milwaukee or Toronto.
