Is it just me, or does Mike Breen's "bang!" ruin everything when ever a player makes a big shot?

He killed it. He wouldn't just ration it. Less is always better. TnT's Bob Neal and his "Auctung, baby, auctung!" for Dirk back years ago was so sweet, because he wouldn't do every ing time. I'd always wait because Dirk was always worthy of it, but, it would happen rarely, so it was just like magic when it did.

Does that shot makes Ray Allen the ringchaser GOAT, tbh? IMO it does.

That shot reminded me of Star Wars with Spur fans playing the obi-wan role ...

It's a moment that sucks for Spurs fans specifically, but as an overall sports moment, Breen's "bang!" (regardless of who it benefits or who is sucks for) just ruins it as a sports moment.

    I prefer Marv Albert's "Allen..for three..yes!".

Breen has been ruining big shots for years.

Miami were fighting for life at the moment it looked to me, not just for a rebound. They were so determined to win the ball that I don't think Duncan would've grabbed the rebound even if he had been standing there. Miami just refused to give up and their persistence finally paid off.

Plus, the 3 pointer itself was as much a fluke as it got. Parker was rushing to the corner and waving his hands before Allen's eyes, forcing him to launch the shot with his body off balance. Obviously he was not in a very comfortable to shoot the damn ball, it was a contested shot that ended up falling through the rim with luck.

It looked like he was set at launch to me, Roguey. Originally I too thought he was rushed by Parker, but, the replay shows the launch was undertaken with his body in precise symetry.

That shot was not a typical Ray Allen 3-pointer imho, and Parker probably didn't put enough pressure on him. Allen has been a catch & shooter through his career and I've rarely seen him shooting 3's off the dribble, not to say backwards dribble. It happened but not very often. I saw his body was bent while he was in the air shooting that 3, which was completely different than the textbook shooting manner he usually demonstrates imho

Yeah, upon another viewing he was a bit crooked. His feet were right, but, his body was eyed.

ADDENDUM:::No, even his feet aren't even.
