Good director and good actors...should be good...though I'm not sure how our resident militant atheists will accept it. As far as the other side goes, the butthurt over the story is already starting in religious circles. A quick search will show you what I mean.

If directors actually wanted to do them right, the Bible actually has several good stories that would make good movies. The story of Joseph and Paul's travels in Acts immediately come to mind.
