As a center or forward?
It's be real cool if everyone here started making a push to get Timmy in. He might get in as an alternative he may not, there is no guarantee this year. As fans we should all take initiative and start voting daily whenever you get free time, you can vote as much as we want too. So that's something to keep in mind, just bust out 20 votes for him real quick. It would be awesome to see him get another appearance. He is in the twilight of his career and tbh this could very well be the last legitimate opportunity he has to get an All Star berth. Timmy has given us so many memories and Spurs fans are some of the most devoted fans on earth, lets try and get him another birth. Here is a link to vote.

Bruno please do not delete, I know there is another ASG thread, but I would really like to try and get Spurstalk actively involved in getting Timmy in, this is the best Spurs site on the web, lets see what we can do...

TBH, he probably has a better chance as backup Center. He is behind Love, Durant, and Griffin in the Forward spots. For Center I think he is only behind Howard.
The old voting system is not used anymore, it is 2 backcourt players and 3 frontcourt players.
The reserves are selected by the coaches.
It's just the starters that are decided by fan votes. So it really doesn't matter all that much to vote for Tim unless you think he stands a chance against Griffin, Howard, Durant.
That being said it's going to be pretty tough making it to the bench this year with Love, Cousins, Dirk and LMA all putting some good numbers. Someone will end up being left out. Let Timmy rest and spend time with his kids, tbh..
Frontcourt
1. Kevin Durant (OKC) 850,728
2. Dwight Howard (HOU) 408,623
3. Blake Griffin (LAC) 399,357
4. Kevin Love (MIN) 377,941
5. Tim Duncan (SAS) 312,809
6. LaMarcus Aldridge (POR) 282,613
7. Anthony Davis (NOP) 188,589
8. Pau Gasol (LAL) 177,883
9. Andre Iguodala (GSW) 145,089
10. Dirk Nowitzki (DAL) 126,025
11. Chandler Parsons (HOU) 106,369
12. DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) 99,903
13. David Lee (GS) 89,858
14. Omer Asik (Hou) 79,591
15. Kawhi Leonard (SA) 76,110
?I think Tim can still catch up to Griffin.
He'll get in as a reserve, imo.
The Tim Duncan rule, I prefer give the guy some rest, besides he hates that All Star .
how about if he gets voted in and then just fake an injury. everybody happy now?
The more votes he gets, the more likely he is to get the nod from a coach as an alternate.
no!!! let that man stay home and rest
Quit being selfish assholes. This is about his career and legacy. He might not ever get this chance again. What kind of fans are you? Because Timmy is really going to be so exhausted from playing 10 minutes in an ASG?
Duncan ahead of Aldridge is a joke.
Does Tim want to go to the ASG? We never know but I guess the answer is no. He might want to stay with his children more than ever.
I’d like to say ’Happy New Year’ to all administrators and posters in this forum.
Oh yes, that's right. So Tim doesn't stand much chance.
Aldridge is a beast this season
Tim needs to get in. His rewards are about over tbh.
My thoughts exactly. It would just be nice if we could make a push for one more.
Text 69622 and put just DUNCAN and whoever else you wanna vote for. NBA.com doesn't charge to text them your vote....
Very nice. I'm gonna text this like mad.
I've been voting for Timmy, Manu, Parker, Diaw, & Kawhi
I was all for it last year, but Timmy in the All-Star game this year would be criminal.
Let him rest.
