You know, I'm not really all that devastated that the Colts lost yesterday. I thought they would have a chance to win the game, and they were only down 7 when the 4th quarter started. Usually I'd be depressed after a Colts potseason loss that they had a chance in, but I'm not this year. Even last week when the Colts were down big to Kansas City, I wasn't all doom and gloom. I've been trying to figure out why. At first I thought it was because Andrew Luck was such a gigantic X-factor that it was impossible to predict the Colts. He could play ty and elite all in the same game, there was no telling how it could go. But that wasn't it. The Patriots raped Andrew Luck just like they did last season, clearly you can gameplan for the guy and make him beat himself. So what really eliminated the negative emotions from my 2013 NFL playoff experience?

I think it was Ray Allen. When your basketball team puts up the biggest choke in professional sports history, run of the mill postseason losses just ain't that bad anymore. Thanks, Ray Allen!

Not as big of a choke as the 04 Yankees. They got 6'ed twice and lost game 7 at the ing Bronx. And they were huge favorites going into that series. The Spurs were the underdog vs Miami.

I agree with what Mid said, a 5pt lead with more than 24 seconds left isn't a finished ball game.

The Chicken and Beer Red Sox were bigger choke artists, imho....
