Where would Miami be if Lebrons dad pulled out?
If the Spurs hadn't gotten extremely lucky in the lottery in two very important years then how relevant would we be? Would the franchise even still be here or would we have moved to Seattle by now? Do you guys think we would have found a way to win even if we didn't luck into Duncan or would it have been more of a Golden State or a Clippers franchise?
I'm just so surprised how much luck changed the entire fate of this team and can't find anything else to attribute all the success to other than a bunch of pure luck.
Any other ideas or what am I missing?

Using your logic, 100% of success in sports is logic.
Not champions this year either way so irrelevant.
That Trey missed all those easy shots tonight?
Losing to the Jazz on our home floor would have been embarrassing Maybe fate really is on our side, just like winning the lottery for David and Timmy.
shut up
what do you mean? He made some incredibly lucky, contested shots when the game was pretty much over too... it happens.

To think if the Spurs wouldn't have missed all those wide open 3's? Better yet, what if the Spurs didn't miss a single shot all game? We would have beat the Jazz's ass!
1. It's what you do with the talent so it's not just luck. Lebron had to leave Cleveland, Bosch had to leave Toronto and Shaq had to leave Orlando to go and win. Duncan and Robinson didn't have to leave.
2. Try not to think too much.
If my grandma had a she would've been my grandpa.....
