Don't bull me and say you don't pick your nose. Everyone does it. I usually do it in the bathroom when I wake up. Sometimes, I wonder what would happen if you didn't pick your nose for like a week. Would the snot and boogers in your nose just rot in your nostrils? Anyways, I hadn't cut my finger nails in about a week and they were vampiric looking and I was a dumbass and cut the inside of one of my nostrils. The best time to pick your nose is probably right after you trimmed your finger nails.

Why do you care if anyone ever cut themselves at all? Ever cut yourself shaving? This is news?

One day I think you're trolling, the next I feel pretty bad for you, then back to thinking you're trolling.
That's probably the worst time for you to pick your nose imho because newly trimmed fingernails are sharp as , they would even cut your skin (which's much rougher and thicker than the membrane inside your nostrils imho). I haven't picked my nose for almost a decade because I'd instead just blow all outta my nose. My chi is so strong the blow of air may even pierce 2-3 layers of toilet paper tbh.the best time to pick your nose is probably right after you trimmed your finger nails.

Some of the snot in your nostrils won't come out by blowing your nose. That's why that has to be picked. I hate getting cut when I shave and that's mainly why I hate shaving my face. Damn facial hair grows back fast and thick like Wolverine.
Why pick when you can just blow your nose in the shower every morning? That's when I let em fly.

How would one cut their noses while picking at it? Do you keep extra long nails or something?

I don't shave my face either, just cut short using a small pair of scissors.
Sometimes when the snot coagulates, some solid is formed in your nostrils and it's hard to blow out, then you have to wait until you have liquid snot again (like when you take a few deep breaths in the cold morning and sneeze), then you can blow all out imho.
Finger nails can get sharp so it's possible to cut the inside of your nose while picking it.
It's nice though when you pick a good one and it's got suction at the end....you pull it out and an entrail comes with it. You can actually breathe all the way back for a few minutes. Those are great. Rare, but, just so swell.
My experience is that if you suffer a bleeding nose you can use a finger to press the top of your ear near the root, on the same side of the nostril that's bleeding, and the bleeding will gradually slow down and finally stop. Because it's the same branch of vessel that delivers blood to your ears and then to your nose, it's like shutting the tap rather than stuffing the nozzle, imho
