Like a all pro WR/TE/SS or would he be average player?
Bill Barnwell sees him as more of a 4-3 defensive end in the NFL, someone who can use his speed to get past O-linemen and his wingspan to bat down passes at the LOS.... honestly, I kind of agree with him there, don't really get the fascination people have with him playing TE or WR....

Just because he and Gates jumped from basketball to TE doesn't mean LeBron would have to, though.... I just think he'd be much scarier as a defensive player, tbh.... don't think quarterbacks around the league would want to see the Kang coming at them at full speed....

lebron could be a hybrid linebacker/safety though. sort of a tight end stopping specialist. he has the ideal size/athleticism to deal with guys like gates/graham/davis, but like i said, if thats the case, he's best served on offense. still, i think he'd get snapped in half if he actually signed with an nfl team
He'd be at least asgood as 6-10 255 pound Morris Stroud, a TE who played about 6/7 years in the league.

How much of a physical freak is LeBron? After watching him put 42 on Mavs, Jason Witten told me LeBron could be best TE in NFL.
Lebron would make Jerry Rice look like a scrub. He's got Mosses speed and TO's physicality in a tightends body.
He'd get lit the up and he wouldn't be able to flop his way out of it.

You might wanna check Marshalls track records before talking about James having Moss's speed. His indoor 200m PR was one of the fastest NCAA times in his junior year.
If track had been his thing I can see a 10.20 for Moss.

Niner RC Owens actually did block a field goal standing right under the crossbar, he was 6-2. Yep, a former basketballer at Idaho State.
Because all the big and fast guys with good hands play basketball. You've seen him catch some of those ridiculous alley oops. He's got some of the best hands in the NBA, he'd easily have some of the best hands in the NFL.
