Hurler: pitcher.
Striker: batter.
Behind: catcher.
Captain: manager.
Ace: run.
Muff (or muffin): error.
Garden: outfield.
Hot Corner: third base.
Short Scout: shortstop.
Tender: baseman.
Cranks (or rooters): fans.
Leg it: run.
