I know a lots of Mexicans living here in central Cali (Mexico North). Bought my first car off a Mexican peach picker I worked with. Cost me 300 bucks, a 53 Chevy. Why the guy spry painted the dash fluoresant orange...? Ever notice they aren't into shades, red is ing red.
Anyway, they do dig the rasslin, they think it's real.
So just who were the legendary Mexican rasslers? No doubt you've been wondering.
El Santo is the father of Lucha Libra, he also was a movie star. HUGE....in Mexico. Yep, he wore the mask.
Mil Mascaras, I'm thinking he was related to El Santo. He also did some movies, yep...masked!
Pepper Gomez...was huge back in the day here in Cali.
Herculez Cortez, a legit strong man, over 300 pounds of muscle.
Luis Martineze, sometime tag partner with Pepper.

The Torres Brothers, huge in the LA area. Alberto, Ramon were the tagteam, Enrique a singles star.
