Dear God I forgot how awful McNabb was down the stretch. Every throw is errant, clock-management atrocious, just embarrassing all the way around.

Did you get to the part where he was literally vomiting on the field when they needed to start hurrying up the offense?

What are McNabb's playoff numbers comparatively to Jim Kelly's?

And TO was a beast that game too, even with the screw in his leg.

I remember McNabb scrubbing it up tbh all those checkdowns in the dirt or well over 6 feet away. It was like he got paid off to fix the game.

Anybody who watched Mcnabb on a regular basis would know a good portion of his passes would hit the dirt before getting to his receiver. It was just highlighted in the superbowl

McNabb had to face the likes of Michael Vick, Jake Delhomme, Brett Favre.

Always look on the bright side of life...you could have lost 4 consecutive Super Bowls or never been to one...

The Pats/Panthers SB was far more heartbreaking.

Never in my life had I had such a high followed by such a low... Well, other than game 6..

That was the beginning of the end for Jake Delhomme and my dad. He never was the same after that game and passed away like a week later.

The years when Jake Delhomme was elite were my favorite years as a Panthers fan. Smith, Muhammad and Proehl were bosses. But the end of his career almost made me forget about the beginning. I swear he cost us that le in 08. Never have I seen two dominant running backs play so well all year, only to have our chances crushed on six turnovers.

He flat out earned my respect that day.
