What do you think about this statement: "I'll take '11 playoffs Dirk over any version of Duncan."

2003 Duncan s on any player since Shaq 2002 tbh. Not only do the mavs win more than 1 championship, they'd also not have to depend on Big Daddy Tyson.

You said it. 03 Duncan could caca all over Dirk anytime. And while 02 Shaq was great, Lakersref was in full effect. Kings were robbed, and that is not debatable.

Put it this way: replace Duncan with Nowitzki in the final minute of game 7 last year, do you guys end up with 5? I think so. I doubt Nowitzki would miss a in' layup over Battier.

They would both have two, maybe three rings.

The difference would be the Mavs front office and the Spurs front office.

Did you forget about a certain play during the midst of the previous decade? The one that cost you 5-5 and a threepeat?

no other team outside of the Heat has won the championship since then, spurs could've made a difference last year and they were very close to making it, but we all know what the happened in the last 28 seconds of game 6.

He made a layup over an outstretched Ginobili in a Game 7. What makes you think that Dirk Diggler's gonna blow a wide-open layup in a Game 7?

nothing... comparaison is dumb... 90% of the big of the league would have made dat lay up... just a hand of bigs in the league could have the Duncan POs run last year... none could have done that at 38 y/o

dude talking about Duncan for last year PO or for a missed lay up worth less than a bag of

last yeat POs just reinforced Duncan legacy... at the end of the day as much as I like Dirk, Duncan on him at his peak and carreer wise twice a day 7 days a week

If we're talking about switching them for their entire careers, then the combination of Duncan as a foundational piece and Cuban's money in the pre-2011 CBA NBA would have been pretty awesome. Cuban spared no expense trying to surround Dirk with the right group of players to win a le. Say whatever you want about the relative greatness of the two players, Duncan was the easier player to build around.

Though Pau can't win a single playoff game without Kobe holding his hand. You kept that intact last year about this time.
