I like what he says when he talks about basketball, but half of the time on TNT he's making dumb jokes and yelling over people. Irritating.
I hated him. For his animosity toward Dave... For always finding a way to fuq us in the playoffs... For being a big fat clown who seemed to use physiology to beat people with more skill than he had... For being a cross-eyed mush mouth jerk.
But....
He gives major props to Duncan. He compliments the Spurs at every turn... Doesn't take himself too seriously... And his retirement speech was absolutely hilarious. Oh, the commercial with his dad and the pay phone was epic, too.
Thanks, Diesel, for showing me adversaries aren't always enemies....opponents can be respected......and long-time foes can become friends.....
Shaq is pulling for the Spurs this year, just like last. I respect that tremendously.

No Shaq. I like Barkley too, but he doesn't irritate me as much as Shaq does with the jokes
I'll never respect Shaq after the lies he told about David Robinson dissing him in HS.
He sucks on TNT to be honest has been a bit better this year but he is supposed to be funny but rarely is.
And as much as he respects Tim he disses Dwight in a petty way.
Hey I hate Dwight too but I am a fan. Shaq should check his bias better because he could be a great expert on big men. He actually makes sense sometimes when he talks hoops but the monotone voice and bufoonery is annoying.

The only reason Shaq gives so much credit to Duncan is because Shaq has beef with Barkley lol.

Shaq's actually always given Duncan props, and unlike when Barkley does it, it actually comes off as genuine and not like "Oh I'm just saying this to make my incoming insults seem even-handed when really I never do anything but insult them".
I still find Shaq annoying, but I believe his remarks about Duncan. His props are legit opinion. Barkley's aren't

EJ and Chuck are usually funny, Kenny is hit or miss. This B-Team is pretty awful though

he did? u dont think he ever met robinson in high school. it's possible. i never heard him say he made it up. i know you're a spurs fan, but some nba players are diks. some of them treat their own teammates like haha
Yeah, Shaq's said he made up the story for ratings and to sell the rivalry. He met him as a teenager and said Da Admiral was classy as advertised. That dude couldn't be a jerk if his life depended on it.

Of course it's bull . DRob started with the Spurs in 1989. By that time, Shaq was already at LSU, so it was not possible that DRob ever met Shaq when he was in high school.
I remember after a Finals win Duncan sat in with Shaq and the crew for an interview. Shaq seemed genuine with his respect and even joked around with Tim. At the end of the interview he shook Duncans hands and wished him luck.
Shaq just chalked up tonight's loss as OKC wanting it more and playing like it was the playoffs while we didn't. Grant Hill and Webber then scoffed at Shaq and simultaneously said, "Nah, OKC's athleticism is just too much for them. They got no shot." We'll see mother ers.
