Did you give the rundown of your portfolio to Alan, Capri? The investors at Brevan Howard want to prepare for our visit to the Islands.
He created the sun, moon, rain, stars, and mountains....he gave us the 10 Commandments...sadly mankind has perverted his word to make us believe slaves should be beholden to the slave owners...in such a case it was only to keep balance and order...
his ways are higher than ours..never forget...ok Rogue![]()

sorry to you religious people but I don't believe there ever existed a "Lord", and even if he really existed at one time who created all these things, I'm inclined to say that he's just as bad a law maker as Obama is a policy maker tbh, because there have been so many injustices and unfairnesses in this world...
first of all, we don't get rewarded fairly for our efforts. Some people spent great deals of time and money on education, receiving extensive schooling, but in the end of day found themselves stuck in ty jobs where no hope could be seen (like my Jacob). While some others who barely finished high school are making handsome money without working much (if at all, you know the examples), so they have considerable spare time to spend posting on the internet preaching their false ideologies to our generation of young dudes.
On a national/international level, we're being punished for our violation of natural rules. We allowed the Japs to possess nuclear materials for "peaceful" uses, only to hit ourselves hard in the back when a tsunami leaked out the radiative materials into the Pacific Ocean whose impacts extended to as far as the western coast. Meanwhile, terrorism has infiltrated from Afghanistan/Pakistan well into the US mainland, as terrorist attacks are frequently taking place at domestic levels (most recently the pennsylvania knife crime conducted by a highschool student which caused 30+ injuries, not to mention the boston marathon bombing, sandy hook shooting etc...). Last but not least, the Globe is getting outrageously warm, summers are hot as and even make your shoes melt, not to say air pollution which may cause 4-5 foggy days each week.
If the Lord is punishing us for our greed, laziness, or our original sin, then is it safe to say the terrorists are the Lord's missionaries who're getting the job done for Lord in our world (assuming that Lord can't make no direct impact on us). Then the terrors are representatives of him on the earth, and we're fighting the terrorists on the global scale treating them like rats, which further enraged the Lord and made him punish us even harder?
you forgot to make a Poll, Jesus Kool...
been thinking about this question all afternoon and just came up with one thought... the Lord might be a good lawmaker, he chose the right orbit for earth so our planet is neither too far away from nor too close to the Sun, which makes life possible. And everything is running smoothly in the pre-historical era, the Sun rises and sets, water clear air fresh... but he clearly lacks the power to enforce his laws on the earth that's why terrorists can do us harm and get away with their crimes. the Lord is like a MacDaddy who created babies (us humans) but refused to take the responsibility of raising us. We're all God's kids, illegitimate kids though...
just lie to your professor about the poll dude...I had so much going on I forgot...
If we're talking Physical Laws consider that the earth wobbles a great deal in it orbit. The eccentricity of the Earth's orbit is such that over the course of a year our distance from the sun varies by about four million miles, which is about 3%....any closer we all burn in any further away we all freeze to death....it's a perfect law
tell your professor that kool said:
Accept jesus into your life let him lead and direct it
1) accept that you are a sinner and that you need jesus in your life
2) accept the fact that jesus died on the cross for your sins
3)accept the fact that on the third day he rose again
4) acknowledge that he is who he says he is....
if you do all this you will enter the kingdom of paradise which he created for all his followers. choose to accept this free gift while it's still free
only the fool in his heart says there is no god
neil de grasse himself said the main reason why god probably doesn't exist is because he's a terrible law maker lol
he's just upset that he has big lips and nappy hair![]()
excellent take, Jesus Kool. The physical law is perfectly made that's why there exist life on the earth to begin with, it's always the humans themselves that are hard to control because they're too smart (because their ancestors stole and ate the fruit from the tree of wisdom. We don't need no laws for animals because they all abide by their norms, but humans are so smart they always behave beyond what they should do and even though in our world humans have made laws to restrict their behaviors, there're still millions of people infringing/breaking the laws.
Greed is the source of all evils imho. Animals also have greed but fortunate to the earth they don't have such power to unleash their desire to such an extent where the ecosystem could be endangered, but humans do have such greed and such power. The tornadoes/earthquakes etc... can be seen as punishments on us for our improper activities, our excessive abuse of the nature, yet we never learn. We're still abusing the earth as well as our own lives and at the end of day humans will go extinct not because of comet/asteroid hitting the earth but our own "smartness" and greed, imho.
Yes of course... post hoc ergo propter hoc. Oh look, there's mold on the shower curtain... the curtain was made for mold to live there because it supports the mold by being near water, and in a warm environment. All hail great shower curtain god.
You realize that our of the entire earth, a small percentage of that is actually nice and habitable for humans? Yep, totally a "perfect" creation
Yeah seriously anyone who considers earth or the human race "perfect" has a pretty strange definition of that word.
we evolved to the earth. it certainly didn't evolve to us. we're basically really intelligent coyote primates imo.
If I'm not mistaken the Bible says that god saw all his works and noticed they were good. it didn't say perfect..which indicates he was tinkering around with things trying to see what works like a scientist. That god didn't snap his fingers and everything into existence shows that he values hard work.
I'm really helping you out here Rogie...you should get an A in class
He values hard work even though he wasn't willing to work hard enough to make the world perfect![]()
Started with a perfect couple...they decided to pervert it....I've already commented on this....he created and then left his angels in charge...one angel decided he wanted to turn bad and mislead the people he was tasked with overseeing...which has resulted in untold suffering....life is a test for all of his in many different ways...I personally believe the reason people never come back to earth after they die is because once they die (depending on their destiny) the spirit world is so glorious they don't want to come back
stopped reading after that
Why wouldn't he make sure the angel he leaves in charge is perfect?
This tells me that you have never even read the book you base your entire religion on, like most religious people. You can shut the up now![]()
no it doesn't...if anything it tells you I haven't read it or been to church in a while but it doesn't say I haven't read it....
who says he didn't....ever heard of free will...it's deep and can get complicated...but he left Lucifer in charge and he decided to turn bad and mislead humans into bad behavior...the devil will get his in due time...
If an angel is perfect it wouldn't use its free will to mislead people and destroy the supposedly perfect world god created.
Nothing about it is deep and complicated, you just make it deep and complicated to try and explain how much a supposedly perfect creation contradicts reality.
