The you say, Capt. Obvious.
OKC is down 36-44 to Memphis at the half. LOL OKC 36 points in the half. We, along with OKC, don't seem to show a sense of urgency.
The you say, Capt. Obvious.
Beno doing work again...
I wish we had him still...
Did typing that thread le really make you "LOL"... it's the NBA, these are professional basketball players. Everyone is good. Deal with it.
The Pacers are now down 2-1 to the Hawks who are the 8th seed. The lower seeds are putting up a good fight this year.
is the west, that is how it is..
Wizards also giving the Bulls the business
7 and 8 seed in the west would be a top 4 seed in the east. All the teams in the west playoffs are good. Heck even some of the non playoff teams are good.
The Heat haven't exactly been tearing it up against Charlotte, either.
Beno with the goods.![]()
The Heat are the only high seed who have their series under control and looking ahead to the next round. Lucky s. Still, I like underdogs, except when they're against us, of course.
I can say seeing the Thunder lose makes me feel better about the Spurs loss. We're gonna beat the Mavs, an I told my friends it will go 6gms. Faveing the Griz aint to bad.
Pretty sure the lower seeds from BOTH conferences have been compe ive.
The reward for beating the Mavs is playing Portland. Tough conference.
It is not surprising that the Mavs are compe ive against a a team full of chokers...
Actually the top 4 seeds in both conferences are finding the first round a real challenge. The Spurs have to get their together, and even more so for Indiana. The Heat and Clippers MAY have the easiest time making it to the second round thanks to injuries to Al Jefferson on the Cats and Bogut on the Warriors. The Bulls and Rockets are down 0-2 right off the bat. The Raptors/Nets series could be a toss up and now OKC is down 1-2. Haha! I guess the refs not helping OKC enough in this round.
Celtics...Lol...
Not only that, but every lower-seeded team in the first round has won a game except Charlotte (and even they were close in game 2). It's a great year for NBA playoffs.
Actually it's a lot worse than this for the top 4 seeds in each conference. Memphis is now leading 2-1 against OKC and Portland is leading 2-1 against Houston, which means both the teams that give the Spurs problems are in a tough position right now. So instead of looking at Houston-OKC in the next couple of rounds, we might be looking at Portland-Clippers, which suddenly looks a lot better. It's definitely not the year to be complacent in the 1st round...
Portland is 2-0 against Houston
Even Atlanta is giving Indiana a hard time out East. The only series which will surely belong to the higher seed is MIA v CHA
^15th Seed checking in
The easiest path to the finals is shaping up for the spurs. that is the only way they will make it because they are not beating Houston or OK City in a 7 game series.
The Spurs are in good shape. They sleep walked and still got a split.
