Tony is listed day to day for game 5. Should we play Parker? Yes, Usually whoever wins Game 5, wins the series. No, If we can't beat the Mavs w/o Parker we can't win a ring anyways and we aint going to win w/o him so let's rest him. I am undecided, any thoughts?

Let me play devil's advocate for a second, since now it is pretty much unanimous to play him (regardless of injury) if he plays and lose the game is overif he plays and he gets further injured is overif he plays and doesn't further injure himself and we win it is not over.

so 1/3 possibilities works for us if he plays.

if he doesn't play and we win it is not over

if he doesn't play and we lose is it over

so 1/2 of two possibilities works for us. and the real question is,

what are the chances we beat dallas w/o parker

what are the chances we beat dallas w an injured parker

what are the chances we beat dallas w a healthy parker

He needs to play. If not defense will focus more on either tim or manu.

If he is really injuried and a few days can make a real impact on his recovery i would suit him but not start him.
If Patty Mills is doing good with the first unit and we can avoid playing Tony, then great. If we need to play him he needs to be available.
I think we don´t have to forget that this team has done pretty well without Tony (12-3) and if we pull a win without him playing considerable minutes it would be a demoralizing blow to Dallas.
If it doesn´t pan out the first 5 minutes then you use Tony and end of the experiment.

Give me Patty Thrills anyday of a bum ankle Parker! Something about Patty and his ability when his back against the wall, the only thing I fear is the drop off when Cory Jo comes off the bench.

If Parker doesn't play, it'll be Mills who will come off the bench. Pop doesn't like changing his rotation.

Sitting Parker would be suicidal to our chances at winning this series. I'm a Parker hater, but he's a key cog (THE key cog) on the team.

Maybe his girlfriend will go into labor today. The timing would be perfect. He can set a pick for the baby on crutches.

Why would it be mills and not Joseph starting? I admit I wish Joseph had gotten more burn, he did well during the injury plague.

If Parker misses a playoff game with a Grade 1 ankle sprain, France should be nuked IMO.

And the Benelux countries. After all, Parker is from Belgium. It'll be like the Red Storm that we all imagined. Soviet tanks pouring through the Fulda Gap in full speed through West Germany with their sights set on destroying the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Palace of Versailles. "Let them eat cake."

That would make 4 babies in this series. Manus, Matixs and Parkers children. And Dejuan Blair
