Have you realized how bad Aldridge's post-game is? Also the dude can't convert a lay-up or a baby hook to save his life tbh. If you won't give him an open jumper he won't score 25 points up. Is it our defense or is he really this bad?
I think having no bench and extended minutes have finally caught on to Aldridge and Lillard. At some points they had shots with absolutely no legs.
His postgame is actually good
he has go to moves and counter moves and he knows when and where to use them
not much he can do though going up against FMVP and future DPOY Tiago Splitter
all the junk he used against monkeyballers like Jones/Howard and Asik arent working since Splitter is just too smart for it
The key on LMA defense is 'Stay close and do not jump'
Splitter is smart but also i think Pop gives the key to him before the series.(On Dirk also)
meh. i think it is more of an issue of yips than him not being able to score off his hookshot.
He's settled for a lot of jumpers splitter has been all over his ass as well
His turnaround jumper is the hardest post move to stop in the league. Splitter has done so well gettin in his grill and not biting on the pump fake
His best move is that face up bump and fade.
His post game actually rated really well this year, tbh..statistically, it may have even ranked as elite, among PFs IIRC..
Splitter is arguably the best individual defensive big in the league, tbh, s better start recognizing..
That certainly didn't show in the first 3 games imho. There was even a point where he missed 2 consecutive dunks and all his failed attempts which were literally under the rim screwed their chances of coming back in game 2 especially.
Splitter destroyed Aldrige confidence.
splitter right now is in la head
oh and espn announcer said he was sorry that he said splitter was overpaid
FWIW...this season LMA shot 36% in the non-restricted paint area. For comparison, Splitter shot 34%, Al Jefferson shot 51%, and Duncan shot 46%
