Still not his final form IMO
dude was comming off screens like milwaukee ray allen
Well we can include testies amongst the people that don't have a clue. The 3's, Ellis and the others guarding Belli vs Dallas did a much better job fighting through screens and sticking with him during the back cuts. The help also actively cut off passes to his spots up to and out on the wing or that back cut.
Carlisles scouted our motion offense better and he gets his players to execute defensively much better. Belli is the same guy for the most part as he never got those looks even the off balance ones vs Dallas.
Manu is the key in this series, his hability to create plays for the bench players to get confident, Parker can score but he struggles on the team game creation. It is not a coincidence that Manu started feeding them, speccially Don Belinelli, the team will need his 3s
Beli using Baynes screens are not a bad idea...a lot of space for the italian to shoot.
Manu sucked major dong today. Lets concentrate on the positives and talk about Belli and Parker![]()
Still doesnt make up for his 7 game holiday in round 1.
Ginobili's shooting was bad, everything else was good however.
Indeed, that's the reason why i think he is the key, it is useless to have a good bench if nobody can create plays for them.
2pts 0-6FG and 3 Tos in 20 minutes
I'm sure he'd agree with you that he played so-so and attribute his bad play to too much beef in his diet![]()
Created a lot of points off his dribble. Played good defense.
But keep just looking at box scores.
