No.
Tim Duncan ~34 mins
Tony Parker ~33 mins
Kawhi Leonard ~33 mins
Tiago Splitter ~28 mins
Manu Ginobili ~26 mins
Boris Diaw ~23 mins
Danny Green ~21 mins
Patty Mills ~16 mins
Marco Bellineli ~15 mins
Aron Baynes (1 game) ~ 10 minutes
Maybe elaborate?
Belinelli is barely earning his minutes. He's found his shot again, which is great, but he's still a liability on defense. Baynes made great use of his minutes in Game 1 but that isn't enough for me to feel comfortable for him appearing in the early going at the Garden. The rotations are mostly working in this matchup, bench players are contributing, Splitter is still doing great things on LMA and Diaw slowed RoLo way the down. If Belinelli can keep scoring, then I see no reason why he shouldn't keep playing, but the moment Portland lets the dogs loose in Game 3, I'd rather see those minutes go to Green.
I wouldn't mind Kawhi playing more, but so far so good I'd say...
If the Spurs keep blowing out teams, I don't care. It's only an issue in close games where Pop subs out Green or Leonard for Beli or Mills because he feels he has to go 10-deep no matter what. Right now, everyone's playing well enough to justify a nine-man rotation.
I'm fine with it. If I had to make a couple of adjustments though:
- More Green, less Beli
- More Leonard
