Shd be FTT&R
The Spurs have been waiting for a chance to avenge 2012. Nothing would be more appropriate on this run to the Finals.
Payback is a real .
The Thunder.
FTT.
And the refs, too.
5.
This is our le run where we avenge the Manu foul (done), the 2012 series (TBD), and 6 (TBD). Let's do this.
Which game(s) will Manu give away?
Yep...they avenged their 8-1 seed loss to Memphis last year. Next the Thunder, followed by the Heat! Go Spurs Go!!!
Kawhi, Green, Splitter, and Diaw are so much better this year than that of 2012 it's not even funny.
But unfortunately, Parker/Ginobili/Duncan are all worse.
Manu better show up or else we'll have 7 minute stretches of dead offense while he allows OKC to make runs.
I'm seriously not concerned here, nor should the Spurs. If they play how they should, this is not a hard series, it's all mental at this point. They can't break down, 2012 was a distant memory, you can't let any remnants of the backdoor sweep take over.
Some of us might break down with how much TNT will play that up.. It will be ad nauseum that and last years finals
Don't forget the so called team who owns us during the regular season for years now and we finally meet them in the playoffs round two! All I heard is they can't beat Portland or a horrible matchup etc. They thought they really owned us, their fans did too.
It wasn't the matchup I was hoping for, but bring it on. This is the chance for year of full Spurs postseason vengeance.
Besides, it annoys me how OKC fans are so unbelievably confident that they are the Spurs' kryptonite and have us totally figured out. You can bet those dip s are on their boards cheering and jeering confidently about how the Finals are the next stop since they're facing the Spurs. Maybe if they were a team with some championships under their belt they'd understand the season don't mean ing . And oh yeah, James Harden is kind of a big ing deal. Yet these ers and most of the national media are basically counting season games and a playoff series where Ibaka and Harden and everyone played out of their minds. Sure, Kevin Durant has improved spectacularly, but what- ing-ever, the OKC team that beat the San Antonio Spurs in the playoffs is no longer intact. This is a fact. It no longer exists.
You think we'd have lost in 2012 if they had Reggie ing Jackson (I don't care how well he plays against the Spurs during meaningless season games) and ing Jeremy Lamb instead of James Harden?
Time to do what the Spurs have to do every year, subvert the expectations of re s underestimating us who don't know anything about basketball.
Bring it on. OKC, its fans, and the national media need some awakening. Season games don't mean squat, especially with the Spurs, and the Durant-Westbrook-Harden Big Three no longer exists. Let's take these SuperSonics-jacking, Thundereferee-dependent, never-gonna-win-a-ring assholes the out! It's not going to be easy, but we are not the 2012 Spurs and they are not the 2012 Thunder, I mean that's a fact, it's not a matter of opinion.
YO HEAT PUNK..
Yes I have been waiting since 12 to get back at these ers obviously Westbrook went down last season,no excuses now
We need to see more plays run through Kawhi obviously.
Yall need to have more faith in Manu
This, cause he's never let you down before.
Manu will be the one to pull through against OKC. You heard it here first
You're terrified, aren't you?
