Forget about it. That's not why we lost the game. Sure the refs were horrible, but we were right there in the ballgame 'til the last 2 mins when we decided to play heroball instead of trusting what got us there. Duncan and Parker hit those fts, we're up 2-0 going to Miami. Spurs put this on themselves, and they're going to have to earn it the hard way.

You can´t demand perfection from one team while the other can afford ty plays because refs will be there for them thats like YEAH YOU MADE THAT SHOT BUT IM NOT SOLD DO IT 50 MORE TIMES I WANNA BE SURE IS GOOD¨

The Heat team are full of floppers and it seems only the teams they play ever get fined.

Lebron and Wade have made a career out of flopping, i doubt anything happens, they're too important to the machine. Now if Tiago pulled that , they'd come down hard on him.

Why does it matter if he gets fined? $5,000 is pocket change to him. If it means he rings then I doubt he cares.

Parker gets called for a carry in the 2nd half.

LeBron does the exact same thing and is allowed a three pointer for their one point lead.

Phantom Fouls on Green Leonard and Manu. Wade gets poked in the eye by air or a ghost. Two free throws.

Duncan hits air against Bosh on a three....FOUL.

Wade undercuts Danny Green on a made three and DG complains about it.... Crickets. Wade stuck his foot under him. It was a dirty play just like chalmers pulled on Parker.

The nonsense that goes on out there gives the Spurs no room for error.

In a close game, the Heat always get a little bit more wriggle room on calls. Not to mention the fact that no team other is allowed to play defense so much with their hands like Miami.

Winning this series will be beyond difficult. I hope SA can do it. It's tough when you face a bunch of HGH/roid guys that have massive, pimple covered noggins and license to bend the rules.

I wish Pop would allow one or two of his end of bench guys (baynes, ayers) to get in the game for a couple of minutes and get in the gutter with the cheap shot artists like Wade and Chalmers.

The Spurs better get mean right now if they want to take this series.

Agree, those 2 nigs need some Baynes treatment.
Also there is a psychological factor that most idiots here dont understand, its easier to play with confidence if you have a license to play dirty and you know you will be getting the calls on your side shots will go easier.
Our guys must play with bad against them and in a way thats gonna make them miss some shots because can someone with a brain believe Spurs had homecourt advantage yesterday?
We had HCA against OKC but refs didnt like the idea of Spurs being 2-0 because that would be so much pressure to Miami, in a regular setting we will kill them look all the they did yesterday to win just by 2, embarrassing.

    ESPN Chat with Michael Wallace

    Achin (NY)
Lance got a $5k foul for flopping. Why haven't we seen the same treatment for D-wade?

Wade kicked someone in the nuts and didn't get fined, so he probably won't get fined for this

Lying about contact altogether is a more egregious infraction than exaggerating contact... Wade flat out lied to the officials... The spirit of the league fine system is to call that out. Wade needs to be called out PERIOD. If the league does nothing about it, then what they are showing is that they are incapabble of being impartial with the application of their own rules. If they can't show impartiality, then they are blatantly saying, "the NBA bestows preferential treatment...." [we want the Heat to win this series]...

league is such bull with the flopping fines consistency. wade's was blatant and the worst kind of flop. its one thing to embellish the force of contact and fall, but to whip your head back and act like your face got poked and replays show nothing near your face is unacceptable.

it's a good sign though. the heat are scared, they are pulling flops and cheap shotting ribcages and you know what that means? they are worried their actual play isn't going to be good enough. chalmers is getting frustrated and the heat are getting worried and resorting to cheap to ensure they win, they know the talent alone might not be enough this year against a deep spurs team with lots of weapons.

    Official release
    Posted Jun 9, 2014 4:48 PM

MIAMI -- Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade has been fined $5,000 by the NBA for violating the league's anti-flopping rules during Game 2 of the 2014 NBA Finals.

The incident occurred with 4:09 remaining in the second quarter of Miami's 98-96 win over the San Antonio Spurs last night at AT&T Center.
