    Fortunately the best advanced stats said that Duncan was far from finished and it's a similar story when it comes to Manu. There is just a lot of cognitive bias around.

    But check the different seasons yourselves. Both Tim and Manu consistently to the extent where you can forget about noise, are among the best players in the league including years where bias contributed to different judgements.

    Timmy especially on defense and Manu especially on offense.

    good post...manu definitely still produces at the adavanced stats level...however he was exposed on the leagues biggest stage which unsurprisingly contributes to that bias
