think about it for a min Laker fans..being among the dwellers of NBA teams is literally impeccable timing for us... we're rarely ever at the bottom but the timing is PERFECT!!! the smartest thing Jimbo could do was tank this year and this year in particular...I'm even starting to wonder if Kobe ever really hurt his knee...... why? because 2014 is a rare year in which we have our own 1st rd pick. Remember we sent the Suns our 2013 and 2015 picks in the ed up Nash deal...(hindsight is 20/20) so we're wedged right in between 2013 and 2015 and we're poised to get a great pick in 2014...this chance won't come around again....
As of today we have a 18.4% Chance of landing a top 3 pick.... if continue on the downward projection we'll have a 38% percent chance of being in the top 3, and over 50% chance at getting a top 5 pick. Everyone bottom dweller is tanking to increase their chances...once we land our pick rumor is we'll target Kevin love in 2015 and Durant in 2016 when Kobe's deal runs out...Kobe will still likely be playing at a very productive level so resigning him with Love, Durant, and that top 3 pick will be crazy...and even more so if we're able to snag Rondo in the process...we're a blink away from le contending again and Kobe getting 6

No, you suck because Jim can't buy talent like Jerry could. Actually he spent more on talent in one year with the least results. His job should be to develop talent now, but he already fired most of the scouting department. So, whoever you draft, it won't matter. What can I say Kobe is god and that is the reason why we will get a top 3 pick. Can't people see that God is rewarding us for his loyalty towards us by using his powers to get us a top 3 pick.
