Lmao, Hockey not even half as much viewers
lol hockey.
Some parts of country had higher TV rating than Los Angeles did with Hockey![]()
It's great to finally have a marquee opponent the past two years. The Spurs are finally getting to show their stuff to everyone on the big stage. Can you imagine, if the Lakers or Spurs played in the Eastern conference in the 2000s, the epic finals we would have had during Tim and Kobe/Shaq primes.
Can't imagine the Lakers playing in the East since they are about as far to the west as you can get without drowning.
You know how they got the name Lakers?
that's cool, i'm glad to see we're up there.
but let's be real, it's the Heat, not us.
and we're always going to be the NFL's
Of course I know neither are moving, I am just saying in the 2000s, the Lakers and Spurs were the best two teams in the NBA, many years with one or the other representing the Western Conference in the Finals. A hypothetical Lakers/Spurs Finals would be similar in ratings to the Heat/Spurs. Btw, did you know the Spurs were once in the Central Division with the Washington Bullets, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, New Orleans Jazz and the Houston Rockets? Now that was a messed up travel schedule for the early Spurs.
good point, but even the team that is in that state now is in the western conference.
Something about Jeannie Buss water skiing a lot when she was a kid...
im pretty sure this series is going to 7 now......its all about the money...aslong as the spurs win.....rig it up
They were still in Minneapolis in the 2000's? I completely forgot about that. That's right, they weren't.
Lets hope it does, tbh. I fear this goes 6 games max now.
Spurs fans watching the World Cup will make the ratings drop on Thursday... Calling it
the starting times for the World Cup games are more European friendly, so at least no collision on Thursday ... Brazilian Spurs fans just need to limit the drinking
No, World Cup will be over by NBA game time.
refs going center stage might make the ratings drop.
Brazil's coast is two hours ahead of Eastern time. The inland is one hour ahead and West (which no games are going to play) is in Eastern time zone. A game starting at 8:30 in Rio and SP is actually 6:30 est, 5:30 cnt. That's the latest time you will get. Futbol matches usually last two hours. Will be over around 8:30 Est time. Just before the 9:00 Est time start for game 4.
I will be watching both games on Thursday.
Portland is further west than LA, FWIW.
Start time is 4:00 pm Eastern. Should be over by 6:00 pm well ahead of the NBA game.
