I still get off on the idea of them accepting the trophy in the AAA and then taking a leak on the logo at mid-court, showing that they now 'own' the place.![]()
TBH, 2007 finals game 4 celebration kinda sucks

Those were Games 3 & 4
Being at home for this special le is swwweeeetttt
You had to be their last night....to be at a championship game won and celebrated on your home court....I wont forget it.
Everyone hugging, shaking hands. Their was a women who we talked to all season started crying.....You could see all the
Spurs family's hugging the players.....This was as good or better than the Pistons game 7 win when we stood the whole game....
i was lucky to go to clinching game in 2003 it truly is special. for last nights game i sold the tickets i bought to some family members that really wanted to go more than me and i kinda regret it lol. downtown was the best tho. i dont know if its cause we had such a long break in between championships but it seemed a little more surreal and better than previous years. prob cause they shut down commerce and everyone was just walking high fiving and cheering and partying.
Well, a majority of the fans are going to leave when you ring in another team's building. Some people be like, well I paid for the tickets might as well watch em give out the trophy. But most people leave.
I was at the AT&T Center when we rang in 2005. Can't remember if it was still called the SBC Center back then. I always liked that name better because I told myself it stood for "Spurs Basketball Court". That wasn't a bad game considering the rest of that series versus the Pistons, except Game 5, was blowouts by the home team. Tied going into the 4th quarter, the entire season for both teams comes down to who can win 12 minutes of basketball...and the Spurs pulled away at the end. Duncan wins his 3rd MVP. That was a cool moment to be at even if history isn't going to remember that series fondly.
Would have loved to have been at that beat down last night. Seemed like a fun place to be. Congrats to any of you who were there.
