    Los Angeles Lakers
The haul: Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson

The Lakers didn’t make some massive splash befitting of the franchise’s history, there were no deals to swing or legends to bring in. All they did was acquire a fantastic potential two-way big man that was in the conversation for the top overall pick in the beginning of the school year before falling statistical victim to Kentucky’s depth. Randle will be a great player, and though that fall (and especially his lingering foot injury concerns) is a little troubling, he’ll do well in this league provided he stays aggressive, stays in shape, and Kobe Bryant doesn’t make him cry.

Clarkson is a point guard with skills and size at 6-5, and the Lakers were lucky to be able to swoop in and buy this pick (from Washington) midway through the second round. With Los Angeles’ roster bare heading into the offseason, he’ll have a chance to make the team.
    Grade: A+

i think almost everybody here applauded the Randle pick. the guy looks to be a stud. but a rebuild is a process, not one draft.

They did draft well, and Randle fell right into their lap. It was a pretty deep draft so most of the lottery pick teams were overall pretty happy with who they got.

Laker's season's prediction: Draft A, Regular Season F, with a shot at getting a top pick again. Oh that's right, any pick outside of the top 5 will being going to the Suns.

Lakers were the 8th seed with Howard and Gasol on board. What are their chances to make the playoffs next year.

Congrats on a good draft, my nig. Clarkson is a San Antonio boy and he's from the same side of town as me.... He's a trill and a pure baller.

Draft Grades are as worthless as "Mock Drafts". Heres ESPN giving the Heat an "A+" for drafting MIchael Beasley:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2...tGrades-080627

Heres Sports Illustrated giving the Spurs a "B" for draftin Kawhi Leonard and giving the Kings an "A" for drafting Jimmer Fredette:

Pundits are worthless. They have no crystal ball and all they really want is for you to click on their link so they can pay their advertisers. Give the Lakers a good grade and you get lots of hits from LA Ghetto fan.
