Ariza will be better than Parson's if he can keep up his torrid three point shooting. In Houston's gimmicky offense, it's a good fit. Ariza will only be called on to shoot threes and if the lane is open, to drive in for the two pointer. For all of Ariza's faults like his handles, Morey has always been high on Ariza at one point comparing him to T-Mac using his advanced statistics (Pipe Dream).
Yeah although Parsons is without question a better player than Ariza, I think Ariza may actually fit the Houston lineup better, especially if he just focuses on knocking down open 3s in the offense. Howard honestly needs more shots, and Harden needs to take better shots.
if Ariza can maintain his 3pt shooting proficiency from last season they'll be fine. it's still gotta sting to lose a player you know is pretty damn talented. ariza is a decent passer too fwiw
