Spurs are healthy except for Manu. Clippers are missing Griffin. This better be a win.

Tbf the Clippers have arguably been better without Griffin haven't they?

They might be, but they don't match up better with the Spurs if they don't have an offensive big. The Paul/Jordan PnR can be taken out if they don't have a threat at the other big spot.

Blake could be traded by the time we play them

Nah, Griffin is usually the nightmare match up for us. We can take care of them without him playing.

Yep, they have mostly beaten up on mediocre/ ty teams..

Clippers seem to go on runs every season when either Paul or Griffin is out..speaks on their poor coaching/fit, if anything..

Blake has been a nightmare matchup vs. the Spurs the past few seasons, probably one of the top 3 players vs. the Spurs in the NBA right now..the combination of his improved shooting + very good passing kills the Spurs' bigs..

I'm afraid the lack of rhythm will impact more the Spurs vets than the Clippers playing at home...

I agree with previous posts while they have been playing better w/o Griffin lately, the thing that makes them a matchup nightmare for us is Blake. It is a road game after significant rest so I rate this as a toss up but if we get this one, me might go on a tear in the RRT.

Most everyone posting in here is correct. They won't beat us without Blake Griffin unless we punt. Our issue with them in recent seasons has always been the CP3/Blake pick and roll, which always works and forces us to pick our poison: give up the Jordan dunk (worst decision), give up the Paul shot or drive to the rim (second worst), or the Blake jumper/floater (which we normally have to give up but he still tends to hit those against us for some reason). Without Griffin, they don't really have that weapon.

    Spurs lose tbh.

Paul and Crawford will hit tons of crappy shots.
    Jordan will make FTs
Austin Rivers will look like a star.
Paul will shoot around 12 FTs out of obvious flops, including almost fighting with someone over contact created by himself.

They've had a really easy schedule. Blake is the difference between the Spurs sweeping LA versus losing in seven games last year.

Is rivers even back yet? No reason to ever lose to them without blake.

My bad. Hadn't realized Rivers was injured.

    We might have a chance.

Hope Pop doesn't do hack a Jordan. They can beat them without it. It ruins momentum and allows Chris Paul to rest. His only backup now is Prigioni. Spurs can take advantage of that, plus with Griffin gone it gives them a great chance to win. Boban on Jordan?
