I like habaneros with breakfast.
These things suck in the morning after eating a bunch of habaneros with dinner the night before tbh
I like habaneros with breakfast.
Dammit, thread makes no sense now. Original le was Habanero s
Oh, then you are absolutely correct!
Luckily I never eat that many to feel those.

Raw. They make pickled habaneros?
Baseline I can't believe how much chile you eat; you should be used to this!![]()
I agree with MrsMaalox, I am used to it, but probably don't eat nearly the quan y you do, Baseline.
Got a whiff of that ghost pepper insanity challenge while eating at the new East Coast Wings place the other day. That was enough to give me the s by itself.
Speaking of, I might be in San Antonio soon. Where should I go for a phenomenal burrito? Mexican food in California is pretty ing dynamite, tbh.
Freebirds....no honestly I'm just kidding, don't go there
Haven't had good Mexican food in this town yet to be honest but I am sure there is a hole in the wall mom/pop place somewhere that is pretty good.
As inauthentic as it is, I ing love freebirds. Super Monster = $14 and is enough for 4-5 meals. I cut it up in sections, and throw them all in the fridge. It's damn good and I love dat bad ass BBQ.![]()
I have the utmost respect for Baseline...but reading this makes me question that. Habaneros are weak bruh. Try eating the Moruga Scorpions before bed!!!
GFY, I ate ten of them tbh.
Only one burrito in the world I like, and that's the Hollenbeck de Machacha at El Tepeyac Cafe in East LA. Well two I guess, because their regular pork Hollenbeck burrito is awesome too. But burritos are Cali food, they're not big in Texas like they are in Cali. My favorite plate of Mexican in town is the cochinita pibil at Cascabel's Mexican Patio on S St Mary's Street downtown. But it's interior Mex, not TexMex.
Damn 10? Why? That changes things...
El Tepeyec is the business. I am not a burrito person all that much--It just fills you up and you're slowed down but he is on point with the recommendation. I did not know Texas is not a burrito region. I prefer tacos though...
Because they taste good.
The ranchero salsa and guacamole really make their burritos at El Tepeyac. Just enough heat to give a lot of flavor but not even close to enough to dominate it.
Speaking of tacos, damn I miss King Taco and their arbol salsa.
Right on. But doesn't the taste disappear after like 5? I know I have eaten 10 in a day but in on setting that's crazy. Just because I have been told to slow down on it though. Have you had the scorpion whoa man...that moment were you think man this is just like a habanero and how it comes rushing you is insane.
Nah, habanero is the hottest pepper I eat. If they have to engineer it at a university, it's probably too hot for human consumption tbh. Not LA Beast or anything.
I like to dice up fresh habanero into big chunks and put it in my tacos, especially when I'm feeling too lazy to roast and blend a salsa.
Not missing much anymore--not sure if you've been in recent years but they've expanded and its lost its charm. The one I used to go to has turned into a shooting gallery and I prefer not to go to the one in the LBC because it has been a hangout of unsavory types.
I made a pinapple habanero salsa the other day to put on my fish tacos...and my girl was scared. She can't handle jalapenos so I convinced her to try it and she managed to like it. In fact she jacked the leftover salsa on Monday. I feel you on that--I love the El Yucateco habanero sauce but also mincing them up in my sour cream, bacon, shrooms, and spinach omelets.
I always went to the original one on Evergreen, but I haven't been since Manuel died. Maybe the place went to without him?
Oh I was referring to King Taco--El Tepeyac is still bueno. I went near Xmas time last year and it was still legit.
