    I'll be the first to admit I haven't run the numbers but here's how we can do it...


    Keep Nash for one more yr and resign Gasol for 2 yr 12 million deal...Sign melo in the off-season for 15 mil...then in 15 sign Love for 15 mil...in 16 Kobe comes off the books and then sign Durant for 15 mil....then resign Kobe for 10, say bye bye to Gasol and we have a line-up of:

    Kobe
    Melo
    Love
    Durant

    even if you somehow managed to assemble the lineup of Kobe/Melo/Love/Durant, you'd still have no PG and little interior defense. I'd rather have Noah or Marc instead of Love if I were you, tbh

    Lakers have a healthy Kobe, a stalwart in Boozer, one of the best to ever play in Swaggy P, and they have, I think, Steve Nash. Put that with Byron Scott, the heir apparent to the CotY in 2015 and anything short of a ring is a failure imo.
